Neuromuscular
Neuromuscular massage therapy is a form of soft tissue massage that aims to alleviate chronic muscle and nervous system disorders and problems. It is mainly used to fix trigger points, circulation, nerve compression, postural problems and repetitive movement injuries.
Neurokinetic
Neuro Kinetic uses Muscle testing and is based on observations that certain body parts compensate for other weaker body parts. Essentially muscles or tissue can become weak and “shut down” following injury, while others become forced to work overtime and make up their shortcomings. This concept is known as the body’s “muscle compensation patterns.” These patterns are observed in people experiencing noticeable weakness and pain, but also often appear to some degree in those who are generally healthy and strong
Reiki
Reiki means Universal Life Force Energy. Reiki is a healing technique that originated in Tibet and has been practiced for over 2,500 years. It is one of the more widely known forms of healing through direct application of Chi. The ancient Chinese described Chi as “life-force”, and for good reason. They believed that Chi permeates everything and links the parts of our surroundings together. They likened it to the flow of energy around and through the body, linking each part by forming a cohesive and functioning unit. By understanding the body's energetic rhythm and flow, I believe Reiki treatments will give you stability and longevity. Reiki is a calm practical healing method to decrease strain, ease pain, and allow the body’s own Chi to aid in a cure. Reiki practitioners hold that the fundamental power of the cosmos is channeled through the practitioner to energize the various body systems on levels that endorse curing and completeness. The hands of the Reiki practitioner are used to examine a client's body, and to recognize and treat parts of condensed energy in the client.
